Trading involves substantial risk of loss. Please read this disclaimer carefully before using any UOT content or making any trading decision. It applies to everything published by UOT, on this website, in the UOT VIP membership, on Discord, YouTube, Instagram and WhatsApp, and in live sessions.
1. Financial education, not regulated financial advice
UOT provides trading education. Education teaches general concepts, methods and ways of analysing markets. Regulated financial advice is a personal recommendation about what you should do with your money, given by a person or firm licensed to do so. We provide education only.
Ingover Consulting FZC LLC does not hold any financial-services licence or authorisation from any financial regulator, in the United Arab Emirates or elsewhere. We are not a broker, dealer, investment adviser or portfolio manager, we do not manage client funds, and we do not execute trades for anyone. This disclaimer is not a substitute for any licence or authorisation that may be legally required, and it should not be read as a statement that no such licence could ever be required.
2. Forex and CFD trading risks
Trading foreign exchange (forex), contracts for difference (CFDs), futures, commodities such as gold, indices and other speculative products carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for everyone. Most retail traders who trade leveraged products lose money. Many brokers publish the percentage of their retail client accounts that lose money; you should check this before you trade.
3. Leverage and loss of capital
Leverage magnifies losses as well as gains. A small market movement can cause a large loss relative to your account balance. You can lose some or all of the money you trade with and, depending on the product, the broker and your account terms, you could lose more than your deposit. Only trade with money that you can afford to lose entirely.
4. Market volatility, execution and liquidity risks
Markets can move quickly and unpredictably, particularly around news, economic data releases and session opens. Prices can gap, orders can be filled at worse prices than expected (slippage), stop-loss orders may not protect you at the level you set, spreads can widen, and liquidity can disappear. Platform outages, internet failures and broker issues can also prevent you from managing positions.
5. Prop-firm evaluation and funded-account risks
Proprietary trading ("prop") firms set their own evaluation rules, fees, risk limits and payout conditions, and can change them at any time. You may lose evaluation fees, fail evaluations, have funded accounts closed for rule breaches, or have payouts refused, reduced or delayed at the firm's discretion. Prop firms may also restrict access, change their business model or stop operating. Passing an evaluation or receiving a payout in the past does not mean you will do so again.
6. No investment recommendations or trade signals
Nothing published by UOT is a recommendation, offer or solicitation to buy, sell or hold any financial instrument, or an instruction to enter or exit any trade. UOT VIP is not a signal group, and we do not provide personalised financial advice. Any decision to trade is yours alone.
7. Standard Deviation levels and educational analysis
Standard Deviation ("SD") levels, charts, market analysis and trade reviews are shared to teach a way of reading the market and to explain our reasoning. They are statistical and analytical reference points, not predictions or instructions. They can be wrong, can change without notice, and may be out of date by the time you see them. Charts on this website described as recreations or illustrations are for explanation only.
8. Technical indicators and methodology limitations
Every trading method, indicator and analytical framework, including those we teach, has limitations. Statistical measures are based on past price behaviour, which may not repeat. No methodology works in all market conditions, and a method that has worked in the past may stop working.
9. No promised success, profitability or payouts
We do not promise or guarantee profits, consistent income, passing a prop-firm evaluation, obtaining a funded account or receiving any payout. Certificates and achievements within the UOT programme recognise participation and discipline within our education, not trading competence or future results.
10. Past performance and testimonials
Past performance, whether real, simulated or hypothetical, does not guarantee or predict future results. Testimonials, member journeys, certificates and payout figures shown on our website and channels describe individual experiences. They are not typical, are not a promise of similar results, and do not mean that UOT membership caused those results. Outcomes vary widely and depend on many factors, including skill, discipline, risk management, capital, the firm used and market conditions.
11. Third-party broker and prop-firm risks
Brokers and prop firms are independent third parties that we do not control. Before using any firm, research it carefully, including its regulatory status, financial strength, reputation, terms and complaints history. We are not responsible for any firm's products, decisions, conduct, solvency or failure to pay.
12. Affiliate partnerships and compensation
Some links, discount codes or promotions we share may be affiliate or referral arrangements, and we may receive a commission or other benefit if you sign up or buy through them, usually at no extra cost to you. This means we may have a financial interest in firms we mention. A mention, link or code is not an endorsement or a recommendation that a firm is suitable for you.
13. Independent decisions and due diligence
You are solely responsible for your trading and investment decisions and their results. Before trading, make sure you understand the products, costs and risks involved, carry out your own research and due diligence, and decide independently whether trading is appropriate for you.
14. Geographic restrictions
Leveraged trading products are restricted or prohibited for retail clients in some countries, and the rules on leverage, product availability and the use of overseas brokers or prop firms differ between countries. Our services are not intended for use where they would be unlawful. You are responsible for making sure that your use of our content, and any trading you do, complies with the laws that apply to you.
15. Seek appropriately qualified advice
Before making financial, investment, tax or legal decisions, you should consider seeking advice from an appropriately qualified and, where required, licensed professional who can take your individual circumstances into account.
16. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any trading losses, lost profits or other losses arising from your use of, or reliance on, our educational content, or from the acts or omissions of brokers, prop firms or other third parties. Our Terms & Conditions set out the full limitation of liability. Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
