This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal data when you visit the UOT website, book a call, contact us, or purchase and use the UOT VIP membership, and the choices and rights you have. We have prepared it with regard to the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and other data-protection laws that may apply to you.
1. Who is responsible for your personal data
The UOT VIP membership and the website https://urordinarytrader.com are operated by Ingover Consulting FZC LLC, a company registered in the Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, United Arab Emirates (Company Registration Number 4414563; Trade Licence Number 4414563.01), whose registered address is Business Centre, Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. "UOT — Ur Ordinary Trader" ("UOT") is a trading brand of Ingover Consulting FZC LLC; it is not a separate company. In these documents, "we", "us" and "our" mean Ingover Consulting FZC LLC.
Ingover Consulting FZC LLC is responsible for deciding how and why your personal data is processed in connection with UOT. For any privacy question or request, contact urordinarytrader@gmail.com.
2. Personal data we collect
When you visit the website
The website does not ask you to create an account and does not collect information through its own forms. Its code does not set cookies, does not use browser storage and does not include analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. When you visit, technical data is processed by the providers that deliver the website:
- Cloudflare (website hosting and infrastructure) processes connection data such as your IP address, browser and device information, the pages requested and the time of the request, to deliver and protect the website.
- Google Fonts: your browser requests the website's fonts from Google's servers, which receive your IP address and browser information.
When you book a consultation call (Cal.com, Google Calendar and Google Meet)
Bookings are made through Cal.com. When you book, we collect the information requested on the booking form, which may include your name, email address, WhatsApp or phone number, your answers to booking questions, and information about your trading experience and circumstances, together with the date, time and time zone of your call. The booking is added to our Google Calendar, and calls take place on Google Meet.
When you message us (WhatsApp and email)
If you contact us on WhatsApp or by email, we receive your name or profile name, phone number or email address, and the content of your messages and any files you send.
When you buy or hold a membership (Whop)
Checkout, subscription billing and membership access are handled by Whop. Whop collects and processes your payment details through its own payment systems, and we do not receive your full card number. We receive membership and transaction information from Whop, such as your name, email address, Whop username, the plan purchased, payment and renewal status, and billing history.
When you join our Discord community
When you connect Discord through Whop and use our server, we can see your Discord username, profile information, server roles and the messages and content you post in our server.
Testimonials and results
If you share a review, story, certificate or payout screenshot with us, we receive the information it contains. We only publish it with your permission.
3. How we use personal data
We use personal data to:
- provide the UOT VIP membership, including access to educational materials and Discord channels;
- arrange, hold and follow up on consultation calls that you book;
- respond to your messages and provide support;
- manage subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, billing enquiries and payment disputes;
- moderate the community and enforce our Terms;
- operate, secure and maintain the website and our services;
- publish testimonials and results that you have agreed to share; and
- comply with legal, accounting and regulatory obligations, and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We do not sell personal data.
4. Lawful grounds for processing
We process personal data only where we have a lawful ground to do so under the law that applies. Depending on the circumstances, this may be your consent; the need to perform a contract with you or take steps you request before entering into one (for example, providing your membership or a booked call); compliance with our legal obligations; or the protection of our legitimate business interests, where the applicable law recognises that ground and your rights do not override it.
Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew it.
5. Sharing with service providers and others
We share personal data only as needed for the purposes described above, with:
- Whop: checkout, subscription billing, payments and membership access;
- Cal.com: consultation booking;
- Google: Google Calendar and Google Meet for scheduling and calls, and Google Fonts for the website;
- Discord: the member community;
- WhatsApp (Meta): messaging;
- Cloudflare: website hosting, infrastructure and security;
- professional advisers such as accountants, auditors and lawyers;
- courts, regulators, law-enforcement agencies and other authorities, where required by law or to protect our rights; and
- a buyer or successor of the UOT business, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
These providers process personal data under their own terms and privacy policies. Some of them act as independent controllers of the data they collect from you directly (for example, Whop for payment processing, and Discord, WhatsApp and Google for your accounts with them). Our use of their services does not transfer our own responsibilities under this policy to them; we remain responsible for the personal data we receive and use.
6. International data processing and transfers
Our service providers operate internationally, so your personal data may be stored or processed outside the United Arab Emirates, including in the United States and other countries whose data-protection laws may differ from those of your country. Where the law requires it, we will transfer personal data only where an adequate level of protection is ensured or another lawful transfer mechanism applies.
7. How long we keep personal data
We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide the services, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. When personal data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it, or, where that is not immediately possible, store it securely and restrict its use.
Information held in your own accounts with third-party platforms (such as Whop, Discord, WhatsApp or Google) is also subject to those platforms' retention practices.
8. Security
We take reasonable organisational and technical measures, appropriate to the nature of the data, to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration, and we use established providers for payments, bookings, communication and hosting. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please help protect your information by keeping your account passwords private.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have the right to:
- obtain information about, and access to, the personal data we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
- request erasure of your personal data;
- request restriction of, or object to, certain processing;
- receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used format, or have it transferred to another provider; and
- withdraw consent where we rely on consent.
To exercise a right, email urordinarytrader@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the period required by applicable law. Some rights are subject to legal exceptions, for example where we must keep data to meet a legal obligation.
10. Marketing communications and opting out
If we send you marketing or promotional messages about UOT, we will do so only as permitted by applicable law, including obtaining your consent where required. You can opt out of marketing at any time by following the instructions in the message, replying to tell us, or emailing urordinarytrader@gmail.com. Opting out does not affect service messages about your membership, bookings or billing.
11. Cookies, tracking technologies and analytics
As described in section 2, the website's own code does not set cookies, use browser storage or load analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Cloudflare, as our hosting and infrastructure provider, may set strictly necessary cookies for security and may provide us with aggregated statistics about website traffic and performance. Third-party services you open from our website, such as Whop, Cal.com, Discord, Instagram, YouTube and WhatsApp, use their own cookies and tracking under their own policies.
If we add analytics or other non-essential cookies in future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.
12. Children's privacy
Our services are intended for adults and are not directed at anyone under 18 (or the age of majority where they live, if higher). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact urordinarytrader@gmail.com and we will delete it.
13. Third-party websites
The website links to third-party websites and platforms, including social media, Whop, Cal.com, Discord, brokers and prop firms. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.
14. Privacy enquiries and complaints
If you have a question or complaint about how we handle personal data, please contact urordinarytrader@gmail.com. We will try to resolve it promptly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may have the right to complain to the competent data-protection authority, which in the UAE is the UAE Data Office, or to the authority in the country where you live.
15. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example when our services, providers or legal obligations change. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last revised. Where changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to let members know.
